As the end of the first half term draws closer, the school’s social calendar continues to burst with life. From Cultural Dress up day to Priory Pyrotechnics, there is plenty to look forward to in the final two weeks of half term but there is one event that is undisputedly a highlight of the month. That’s right; Fright Night returns on Friday the 13th of October.
In previous years, Sixth Formers have taken Fright Night to new heights and have made it an event that is relished by students and staff across the Senior school. There have been zombies crawling through the corridors, hospital patients occupying the art rooms and sociopathic scientists contaminating the labs. But if you think St Augustine’s has seen it all, think again. This year’s cohort of Year 12 students have organised an evening that is guaranteed to send shivers down your spine as St Augustine’s is set to be transformed into an abandoned circus next Friday night.
Remember, this is not an event for the faint hearted. Those brave enough to attend will have to endure the wrath of clowns, fortune tellers and nuns to escape.
Tickets are on sale from five pounds per person and can be purchased from the Sixth Form common room at little break between Monday and Friday next week. Both cash and card payments are accepted. Do not forget to bring money on the day as a selection of sweet treats will be available to buy!
So clear your calendars, grab your friends and get your tickets because this will be a night that you won’t want to miss.
We cannot wait to welcome you to the circus…
